Giving from USA

The American Friends of Winchester College (AFWC) is an independent American non-profit organization. The Employer Identification Number (EIN) issued by the USA Internal Revenue Service is 31-1706064. AFWC is incorporated in the state of Delaware and has 501(c)(3) status. Therefore:

• The fund pays no tax on its income
• Donations made to the AFWC are tax-deductible by USA taxpayers
• US foundations can make qualifying gifts to AFWC
• Donors can give appreciated stock

The American Friends of Winchester College is extremely grateful for the continued assistance of the many donors who help through their generous gifts, large or small.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a preference as to how your gift should be applied, please be assured the Directors will be mindful of your request. All gifts will be added to the Annual Fund, unless you indicate a preference in the 'Add a comment' box. While donor advice is always welcome, nevertheless as required by US law, final determination on the use of all funds received by The American Friends of Winchester College is made by the AFWC Board Directors.
